Ingredients for Paruppu Podi (Dhal Powder)
- Thuvar Dhal – 1 cup
- Red Chillies – 4
- Jeera – 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Dry fry the above ingredients separately in a kadai and let it cool.
- Add salt and blend to a fine powder.
- Store the powder in an airtight container.
- Mix one or two Tsp of this powder with a Tsp of ghee and serve with steamed rice
