Ingredients for Mutton Sulemani Kebab Recipe

  • Minced mutton – 1 kilograms
  • Ghee – 50gms
  • Cumin – 1 tablespoon (crushed)
  • Thymol seeds – 1/2 Tsp (powdered)
  • Coriander leaves – 20gms (finely chopped)
  • Chilli flakes – 2 Tbsp
  • Coriander seeds – 1 Tbsp (crushed)
  • Green chilli – 30gms (finely chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 Tbsp
  • Melted butter – 75gms
  • Khoya – 20gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Tomato – 1 (for garnish)
  • Green chilli – 2 (sliced & slit for garnishing)
  • Onion – 1 (sliced for garnishing)


  • Take a vessel add mutton and ghee rub them till becomes soft
  • Then add the red chilli flakes, cumin, coriander seeds, ginger and garlic paste, thymol powder, finely chopped green chilli, fresh coriander leaves, melted butter and salt to taste, mix well all the ingredients
  • Marinate the mutton for an hour
  • Now take small portions of marinated mutton and press on the meat on to the skewer and put it in a charcoal oven for about 5 minutes or until the meat is well cooked
  • Also put the tomato and onions in chunks and grill it along with slit green chilli
  • Once it done, serve it on a serving plate serve hot with chutney of your choice
