Mutton Galouti Kebab Recipe

Ingredients for Mutton Galouti Kebab Recipe

  • Minced mutton – 1 kilograms
  • Thick curd – 3 Tbsp
  • Ginger-Garlic paste – 2 Tbsp
  • Kebab masala powder – 2 Tsp
  • Roasted gram flour (besan) – 6 Tbsp
  • Mace powder – 1/2 Tsp
  • Clove – 5
  • Onion – 5 medium (finely chopped)
  • Papaya paste – 4 Tbsp
  • Powdered yellow pepper – 1 Tsp
  • Powdered black cardamom – 1 Tbsp
  • salt as required
  • Black pepper powder as required
  • refined oil as required
  • Ghee – 1 Tbsp
  • Kewra essence – 4 drops


  • Take a mixing bowl and add minced mutton, gram flour, black cardamom, mace powder, black pepper to taste, salt to taste, yellow pepper powder, chopped onions, papaya paste, kebab masala, curd and ginger-garlic paste in it
  • Mix it well and now, add ghee and kewra essence in it
  • Mix well and keep it aside for some time
  • Meanwhile, heat a piece of charcoal over the flame in a small bowl and add clove in it then Pour 1 Tbsp of ghee in it and quickly place it in between the mutton mixture. Cover it well and infuse the smoke in the mix
  • Now remove charcoal bowl from the marination and keep it aside for an hour to cool
  • Then heat refined oil over medium flame in a deep-bottomed pan meanwhile make small patties from the marinated mutton mixture
  • Gently drop the patties in the oil and fry them on both sides until it turn golden-brown
  • Once it done, transfer the tasty kebabs in a plate
  • Serve it hot with a dip of your choice
