Ingredients for Mango Raita


  • Curd – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Ripe mangoes – 2 (diced)
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Red chillies – 2
  • Fenugreek seeds – ¼ tsp
  • Ghee/oil – 1tbsp
  • Corianders for garnishing



  • Add sugar in curd and whisk until the curd smoothens and sugar dissolves
  • Add chopped mangoes and stir well
  • For tempering
  • Heat oil/ghee in a small pan, add mustard seeds, red chilli, fenugreek seeds and fry till red chilli changes colour
  • Now pour this tempering on curd mango mixture
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl garnish with few mango pieces and coriander leaves
  • Tasty mango raita is ready to serve you can serve this chilled or at room temperature
