How To Make Malai Paneer Recipe

Ingredients for Malai Paneer


  • Paneer – 200 grams (cut in cubes)
  • Malai – ¼ cup
  • Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
  • Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Cashew nuts – 10 (add water and make paste of it)
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Coriander powder to taste
  • Turmeric – 2 pinch
  • Oil as required
  • Water as required
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tsp (finely chopped)



  • Take a pan and shallow fry paneer pieces and drain on tissue paper and keep it aside
  • Heat some oil in pan and add onions, saute until they become golden
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell disappears
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste and sauté for 30sec
  • Add cashew nut paste and required amount of water then cook for few min
  • Add kauri methi and paneer pieces and cook until paneer become soft
  • Finally add fresh cream and mix well
  • Serve it in a serving bowl
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and Serve hot
