Ingredients for Malai Paneer
- Paneer – 200 grams (cut in cubes)
- Malai – ¼ cup
- Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
- Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
- Cashew nuts – 10 (add water and make paste of it)
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- Chilli powder to taste
- Coriander powder to taste
- Turmeric – 2 pinch
- Oil as required
- Water as required
- Coriander leaves – 2 tsp (finely chopped)
Method:
- Take a pan and shallow fry paneer pieces and drain on tissue paper and keep it aside
- Heat some oil in pan and add onions, saute until they become golden
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry until raw smell disappears
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste and sauté for 30sec
- Add cashew nut paste and required amount of water then cook for few min
- Add kauri methi and paneer pieces and cook until paneer become soft
- Finally add fresh cream and mix well
- Serve it in a serving bowl
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and Serve hot
