Macaroni Pasta Payasam or Pasta Kheer Recipe

Ingredients for Macaroni Pasta Payasam or Pasta Kheer

  • Small shell Pasta (or) Macaroni Pasta – 1 Cup
  • Water as required
  • Milk – 2 Cups
  • Sugar to taste
  • Kesari powder – 1 pinch
  • Raisins – 8
  • Cashew nuts – 10 (sliced)
  • Almonds – 10 (Sliced)
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp


  • Heat water in a deep pan, add the shell pasta or macaroni pasta stir them continuously to avoid sticking
  • When pasta is half cooked, add the milk and boil them on a medium flame and keep stirring it
  • Add sugar and Kesari powder in milk mix well
  • Cook until payasam thickens, and turn off the flame
  • Heat ghee in a small pan add raisins and nuts, fry till the cashews become golden
  • Now mix this nuts and raisins in tasty macaroni pasta payasam
  • Tasty payasam is ready to serve hot or serve chilled
