Macaroni and Cheese Pasta Recipe

Ingredients for Macaroni and Cheese


  • Elbow Pasta (Macaroni Pasta) – 2 cups
  • Bread Crumbs – 4 tbsp
  • Parmesan Cheese – 2 tbsp


For The Sauce

  • Butter – 4 tbsp
  • All-Purpose Flour – 3 tbsp
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Cheddar Cheese – 3/4 cup
  • Mozzarella Cheese – 1/4 cup
  • Parmesan Cheese – 2 tbsp



  • Heat butter in a pan Once it melts, add flour mix well and cook it for about a min
  • Add milk little by little, constantly stir them till you get a perfect sauce
  • Add salt and pepper to taste and turn off the flame
  • Add grated cheese in sauce and cover the pan, keep it aside (heat of the sauce will melt the cheese completely)
  • Heat water in a pan add salt and pasta
  • Cook pasta for 7-8 mins or you can also cook pasta as per the package instructions
  • Drain the pasta and add pasta to the sauce
  • Mix well till sauce coasts pasta nicely (here macaroni and cheese is done if you want you can serve it at this step or you can proceed further to bake it)
  • Put the macaroni cheese in a baking dish
  • Spread the breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese evenly on top
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for about 15 to 20 minutes till the cheese gets golden or sauce is bubbly and the top is browned
  • Baked macaroni and cheese is ready to serve
  • Serve it with fresh side salad
