Jaggery Pootharekulu Recipe

Ingredients for Jaggery Pootharekulu

  • Phyllo sheets – 1 pack
  • Ghee – 4 tablespoons
  • Finely powdered jaggery – 1cup


  • Take a layer of phyllo sheets apply some ghee by using brush all over the phyllo sheets.
  • Now sprinkle some powdered jaggery.
  • Spread another layer of phyllo sheets on it and again apply ghee and powdered jaggery.
  • Repeat the same process until you make a thick layer.
  • Now roll them into a rectangle shape.
  • Tasty jaggery Pootharekulu is ready to be served.
