How to Chili Crispy Peanuts Recipe

Ingredients for Chili Crispy Peanuts Recipe

  • Raw peanuts – 2 cups
  • Baking powder – 1/4 Tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 Tsp
  • Chaat masala – 1 1/2 Tsp
  • Gram flour (besan) – 3 cups
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 Tsp
  • Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder – 1/2 Tsp
  • Water as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep fry


  • Take a bowl, add little water along with 1/2 Tsp of chaat masala, garam masala powder, cumin powder, 1/2 Tsp chilli powder, baking powder, salt as required, turmeric powder and gram flour(Besan)
  • Mix well all these ingredients
  • Now add raw peanuts and 2 Tbsp of oil
  • Add little more water if required, but make sure the batter is thick
  • Heat oil in a Kadai for deep fry
  • Deep fry these peanuts until they turn golden brown
  • Once they turn golden brown, transfer it to a paper towel to soak the extra oil
  • Finally, sprinkle the remaining chaat masala powder and chilli powder on it. Mix well and keep it aside for few minutes
  • Allow the peanuts to cool and serve it with tea
