Carrot Porridge Recipe

Ingredients of Carrot Porridge Recipe

  • Carrot – 1 kg (washed and grated)
  • Ghee – 1/2 cup
  • Sugar as required
  • Clove – 8
  • Rice – 1 cup (steamed)


  • Heat ghee in a pan over medium flame
  • When bubbles rise, add cloves and cook it for a couple of minutes
  • Then add the carrots and sugar, cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame
  • When sugar starts to leave moisture, add the steamed rice and mix well cook it for few minutes, stirring occasionally
  • When it is cooked, serve it with warm milk and fresh cream
