Burnt Garlic Chicken Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients for Chicken Burnt Garlic Rice Recipe

  • Steamed rice – 2 ½ cups
  • Boneless Chicken – 100 grams (cut into small cubes)
  • Garlic – 10-12 cloves (chopped)
  • Garlic cloves – 5-6
  • Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  • Spring onion greens – 5-6 stalks (finely chopped)
  • Pepper powder – 1 Tsp
  • Red chilli flakes – 1 Tsp
  • Vinegar – 1 Tsp
  • Soy sauce – ½ Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 ½ Tbsp


  • Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a non-stick pan
  • Add chopped garlic, onion and sauté them for a minute
  • Add chicken cubes, mix well and sauté it for 5 minutes
  • Add pepper powder, ½ Tsp of red chilli flakes and salt to taste and sauté them for a couple of minutes
  • Now add steamed rice, mix well and sauté them for a minute. Add salt, remaining pepper powder and remaining red chilli flakes.
  • Heat the remaining oil in another non-stick pan, slice the remaining garlic cloves and sauté them in oil until golden
  • Reserve few sautéed sliced garlic for garnishing and add the remaining garlic cloves to the cooked rice
  • Add soy sauce, mix well and sauté it for a couple of minutes
  • Add spring onion greens, mix well and sauté for a couple of minutes
  • Add vinegar and stir well, cook for a minute
  • Turn off flame and serve it on a serving plate
  • Serve hot with your like
