Bread Rasmalai Recipe Step by Step

Ingredients for Bread Rasmalai

  • Milk – 1 liter
  • White bread – 6
  • Pistachios – 12 (crushed)
  • Sugar – 50 gm
  • Cashews – 12 (crushed)
  • Almonds – 10 (chopped)

For Garnishing

  • Saffron – 2 pinches




  • Heat a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame, add milk in the pan and let it boil
  • Boil the milk on medium flame till it reduces to half of its original quantity
  • Now add sugar, cashews, pistachios, almonds, saffron, stir them well
  • Keep stirring and cook till the quantity is reduced to 1/4th
  • Turn off the flame, keep it aside and allow it to cool
  • Use cookie cutter to carve out round bread shapes or trim the corners of bread pieces take a small lid and press it gently on the bread slices into small circles
  • Take two bread slices at a time and dip into the thickened milk, leave them there for a couple of minutes
  • Take out the soaked bread slices along with the malai milk serve it on a serving plate
  • Garnish it with almond, pistachio and saffron
  • Tasty Bread rasmalai is ready to serve; you can serve it immediately or serve it after keeping in fridge for 2 – 3 hours
