How to Make Apple Jalebi Recipe

Ingredients for Apple Jalebi Recipe

  • Apple 2 medium
  • Refined flour (maida) – ½ cup
  • Semolina (Rawa/suji) – 2tbsp
  • Corn flour/ cornstarch – 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda – 1pinch
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • Vinegar – ½ Tsp
  • Sugar syrup with saffron – 2 cups
  • Saffron strands for garnishing (optional)




  • Heat sugar syrup in a non-stick pan till warm and keep it aside
  • Take a bowl combine refined flour, semolina, corn flour, baking soda and sufficient water mix well, make a thick smooth batter and keep it aside
  • Core the apples and cut them into thick roundels. Soak apple pieces in water (add some lemon juice in water to prevent them from getting discolored)
  • Heat sufficient oil in a kadai for deep fry
  • Add vinegar to the pre-prepared batter and mix well
  • Remove the apple roundels from the water and dry with kitchen tissue
  • Dip the apple roundels in the smooth batter and slide them into the hot oil and deep-fry till it becomes golden and crisp
  • Drain apple pieces from the oil and dip in the sugar syrup
  • Garnish them with saffron strands and serve hot
