  1. Matsya Avatarava

 pralaya-payodhi-jale dhritavan asi vedam
vihita-vahitra-caritram akhedam
kesava dhrita-mina-sarira jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning:  In the waters of deluge,to preserve the knowledge of vedas you held the vedas like vessel undeflected from its course  o Kesava in the form of a fish, Hail Hari,Lord of the Universe)

  1. Kurma Avatara

kshitir iha vipulatare tishthati tava prishthe
dharani-dharana-kina-cakra-garishthe
kesava dhrita-kurma-sarira jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: on the wide expanse of your back as a pivot for churning rests the world, the mountain, creating round marks O Kesava in the form of Tortoise,Hail Hari Lord of the Universe)

  1. Varaha Avatara

vasati dasana-sikhare dharani tava lagna
sasini kalanka-kaleva nimagna
kesava dhrita-sukara-rupa jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: the earth once submerged at the bottom of the ocean sits fixed on your tusk like a spot on the moon o Kesava, in the form of the Boar! Hail Hari! Lord of the Universe)

 tava kara-kamala-vare nakham adbhuta-sringam
dalita-hiranyakasipu-tanu-bhringam
kesava dhrita-narahari-rupa jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: The sharp nails on your hands became wonderful claws that tore up the body of Hiranya Kasipu o Kesava, of body Man- Lion ,Hail Hari! Lord of the Universe!)

 chalayasi vikramane balim adbhuta-vamana
pada-nakha-nira-janita-jana-pavana
kesava dhrita-vamana-rupa jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: skillfully You defeated Bali the mighty king of the world and from your toe-nails came the Ganga,the purifier of the world o Kesava,,in the form of a dwarf,Hail Hari! Lord of the Universe!) 

  1. Parasurama Avatara

kshatriya-rudhira-maye jagad-apagata-papam
snapayasi payasi samita-bhava-tapam
kesava dhrita-bhrigupati-rupa jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: freeing us of the tyrannous rulers,thus cleansing out the sin you destroy the anguish of the world  o Kesava, as Lord of Bhrigus Hail Hari! Lord of the Universe!) 

  1. Rama Avatara

vitarasi dikshu rane dik-pati-kamaniyam
dasa-mukha-mauli-balim ramaniyam
kesava dhrita-rama-sarira jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: To uphold dharma,You scattered Ravana’s ten heads splendidly in the four directions,to the splendor of the guardians o Kesava, as Lord Sri Rama! Hail hari! Lord of the Universe!) 

  1. Balaram Avatara

vahasi vapushi visade vasanam jaladabham
hala-hati-bhiti-milita-yamunabham
kesava dhrita-haladhara-rupa jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: wearing on your radiant body a garment of the color of the cloud blue like the Yamuna river,flowing as if afraid for your plough! o Kesava,in the form of Balaram,Hail Hari! Lord of the Universe!)

  1. Buddha Avatara

nindasi yajna-vidher ahaha sruti-jatam
sadaya-hridaya darsita-pasu-ghatam
kesava dhrita-buddha-sarira jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: Decrying slaughter according the rules of vedic sacrifice you are compassionate of heart with the poor animals o Kesava in the form of Buddha! Hail Hari! Lord of the Universe!)

  1. Kalki Avavtara

mleccha-nivaha-nidhane kalayasi karavalam
dhumaketum iva kim api karalam
kesava dhrita-kalki-sarira jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: For the destruction of the wicked, with a comet for a sword you’re trailing a train of desaster to them o Kesava! in the form of Kalki! Hail Hari ! Lord of the Universe!)

sri-jayedeva-kaver idam uditam udaram
srinu sukha-dam subha-dam bhava-saram
kesava dhrita-dasa-vidha-rupa jaya jagadisa hare

(Meaning: Here this hymn of the poet Jayadev, o Readers, its most excellent it gives happiness,good fortune,its the best in this dark world o Kesava,in the ten different incarnations! Hail Hari! Lord of the Universe!)

vedan uddharate jaganti vahate bhu-golam udbibhrate
daityam darayate balim chalayate kshatra-kshayam kurvate
paulastyam jayate halam kalayate karunyam atanvate
mlecchan murchayate dasakriti-krite krishnaya tubhyam namaha

(Meaning: as Matsya the vedas,as Kurma the mountain, as varaha the earth as Narasimha the demon, as Vamana Bali, and as Prasuram the Kshatriyas, as Rama Ravana,as Balaram the wicked,as Buddha of compassion, as Kalki to bewilderthe degraded,o Krishna,o Krishna, my obeisances unto You)
