Spicy Chicken Curry Recipes Indian Style

Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken – ¼ kg
  • Jeera – 1 tsp
  • Garlic cloves – 10 (finely chopped)
  • Onions – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Tomatoes – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger – 2 tsp (grated)
  • Green chilli – 3
  • Curry leaves – 2 springs
  • Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder – 2 tbsp
  • Jeera powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black salt – 1 pinch
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Mint leaves – ½ cup
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan and add jeera fry them on a medium flame for few seconds
  • Add garlic and fry for a minute
  • Now add onions, tomatoes, tomato paste, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves stir fry for few minutes
  • Add chicken pieces and fry them for 5 mins
  • Add garam masala powder, chilli powder, jeera powder, black salt and salt, mix well and close the pan with a lid and cook the chicken on a low flame
  • You can also add some water if required
  • After chicken pieces are well-cooked sprinkle the chopped coriander and mint leaves, mix well and serve it in a serving bowl
  • Serve hot
