Simple tadka for chutneys

Ingredients for simple tadka

  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
  • urad dal – ½ tbsp
  • chana dal – ½ tbsp
  • Dry red chilli – 2

Method:

  • Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter
  • Then add curry leaves, urad dal, chana dal and dry red chilli cook on a low flame until dals become golden
  • pour entire tempering along with oil in any type of chutneys
