Shahi Tukda Recipe Step by Step

Ingredients for Shahi Tukda Recipe

  • Refined oil – 2 Tbsp
  • Bread slices – 2
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Sugar free – 2 Tbsp
  • Saffron – 1 pinch
  • Almonds – 25 gms
  • Cashew nuts – 25 gms
  • Pistachios – few (for garnishing)


  • In a pan, shallow fry bread slices by adding little bit of oil until light brown and crisp then transfer them on the plate
  • Heat a pan, add milk and boil it for 10 mins at low flame, stir continuously or cook until the quantity reduced to half
  • Add sugar and saffron, mix them well
  • Add almonds and cashew nuts into it and stir well
  • Boil them for 2-3 mins. Remove from flame and chill it
  • Take a plate, place the toasted bread and pour the mix over it
  • Garnish with pistachios
  • Tasty shahi tukda is ready to be served
  • Serve hot or chilled as you like
