Ingredients for Quick Paneer Tikka Recipe

 

  • Paneer – 1 and half cup
  • Capsicum – 2 medium (1 inch pieces )
  • Oil – 3 tspn
  • Chat masala – 1 tspn

 

For marinade

  • Curd – 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tspn
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1/2 tspn
  • Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
  • Garam masala powder – 1/2 tspn
  • Fresh cream 2-3 tspn
  • Lemon juice 1 tspn
  • Salt according  to taste
  • Method

 

Step 1

Cut paneer into one inch squares with half inch thickness. Mix together all the ingredients of the marinade and marinate paneer for  30 mins

Step 2

Heat oil on a tawa, place the paneer cubes and shallow fry them until paneer become  golden and crisp on the surface.

Step 3

Toss the capsicums pieces in the remaining marinade and sauté them in the remaining oil on the tawa for two to three minutes.

Step 4

Place a capsicum piece on each paneer cube with a toothpick.

Step 5

Sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
