Ingredients for Peri Peri Sauce Recipe

  • Red bell pepper – 200 gm (chopped)
  • Dry red chilli – 50 gm
  • Paprika – 1 Tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1 cup
  • Olive oil – 1 cup
  • Lime zest – 1 Tsp
  • Onion – 50 gm (chopped)
  • Garlic – 11 cloves
  • Black pepper – 1 Tsp (powdered)
  • Salt – 1 Tsp
  • Oregano – 1 Tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 Tbsp

Method

  • Take a blender add red bell pepper, onion, red chilli, garlic, paprika, pepper powder, vinegar, salt, olive oil, oregano, lime zest and lemon juice, blend it to a smooth paste
  • Heat a pan and pour this paste and cook on a low flame for 15 minutes
  • Remove the pan from the flame and keep it aside to cool for few minutes
  • Once the sauce become cool pour it into a jar
  • Refrigerate the sauce for 15-20 minutes
