Ingredients for Peanut Onion Tomato Chutney
- Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Tamarind juice – ¼ cup
- Tomato – 2 (chopped)
- Onion – 1 (chopped)
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Green chilli – 4
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
- Peanuts – 2 tbsp
- Red chilli – 2
- Oil – 3tbsp
- Urad daal – ¼ tsp
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add red chilli, peanuts, garlic cloves, cook this for 1 min
- Add green chilli, onions and cook till onions turn brown in colour
- Add tomatoes, salt, tamarind juice, put the lid and cook it for 3-4 minutes
- Turn off the flame and keep it aside, let it cool
- Now put into the blender make paste of it
- For tempering heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Urad daal and curry leaves
- Serve it with tiffens
