Pasta in White Sauce Recipe Indian Style

Ingredients for Pasta in White Sauce Recipe

  • Pasta – ¾ cup (cooked and drained)
  • Full fat milk – 1 ¼ cup
  • Maida – ¾ tbsp
  • Chopped veggies – 1 cup (carrot, capsicum)
  • Butter – 3 tbsp
  • Cheese – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli flakes – ½ tsp
  • Oregano – ¼ Tsp
  • Salt to taste

 

Method:

  • Heat butter in a pan add veggies and salt to taste sauté them for few mins and keep it aside
  • Heat remaining butter in a pan add maida and sauté till raw smell disappears
  • Add milk and cook until sauce turns slightly thick
  • Now add cheese, oregano, pepper powder and mix well
  • Turn off the flame
  • Add veggies and pasta in sauce
  • Mix well and coat the pasta and veggies with the creamy sauce
  • Serve it in a serving bowl, sprinkle some red chilli flakes on pasta
  • Serve hot immediately

 

Note:

  • Add salt while cooking pasta
  • If the sauce becomes too thick you can add reserved hot pasta cooked water
