Paneer Khurchan Recipe

Ingredients for Paneer Khurchan

 

  • Paneer – 300 grams(cut in pieces)
  • Onions – 2 (cut in strips)
  • Tomatoes – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum – 1(finely sliced)
  • Garlic – 4 (finely chopped)
  • Turmeric powder – 2 pinch
  • Black Cumin seeds – 1tsp
  • Tomato puree – 3 tsp
  • Fresh cream – 3 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tsp(finely chopped)

Method:

  • Take a wok heat oil add garlic, black cumin seeds and fry for 30sec
  • Add onions and capsicum fry for few mins
  • Add tomatoes and cook until tomatoes turn mushy
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt to taste mix well
  • Add tomato puree mix well and cook covered for 5 mins
  • Add fresh cream on a low flame add paneer pieces stir fry until paneer is well cooked
  • Finally add lemon juice and mix well serve this in a serving bowl
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
