Paneer Jalfrezi Recipe Restaurant Style

Ingredients for Paneer Jalfrezi

  • Paneer – 500 gm (cut into cubes)
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoon
  • Garam masala powder – 2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – 2 teaspoon
  • Capsicum – 3 (chopped)
  • Green chili – 3 (finely chopped)
  • Onion – 2 (chopped into thick slices)
  • salt as required
  • Vinegar – 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric – 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
  • Tomato -3 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger – 3 inches (finely chopped)
  • Red chili – 3 (roughly chopped)

For Garnishing                                                

  • Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup

 

Method

 

  • Place a kadhai over medium flame and heat oil in it
  • Once the oil is hot enough, add cumin seeds and let them splutter
  • Then, add red chilies, green chili in the oil and temper for few seconds add ginger pieces, sliced onions and saute the mixture for a couple of minutes
  • Now, add red chili powder, turmeric powder and mix well cook the spices for a minute
  • Next, add capsicum and cook for about 5 minutes
  • Then, add paneer pieces into the kadhai and saute them for 2 minutes
  • Finally, add salt, vinegar, tomatoes along with garam masala in the kadhai and cook the veggies for 5-6 minutes
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or a paratha of your choice
