Paneer Butter Masala Recipe Restaurant Style

Ingredients for paneer butter masala

 

  • Oil as required
  • Onion – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Tomato – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Cashew nuts – 12 to 14
  • Coriander powder as required
  • Garam masala powder as required
  • Red chilli powder as required
  • Sugar – ½ tsp (optional)
  • Butter – 2tsp
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Green cardamom – 3
  • Cinnamon stick – 1 small
  • Cloves – 2-3
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Paneer – 250 grams
  • Kasuri methi – ½ tsp
  • Cream – 3 tbsp
  •  Fresh Coriander – ½ cup (finely chopped)

 

Method :

  • Take a pan heat some oil, add onions and fry until they become transparent
  • Add tomatoes and fry until the mixture turns soft and mushy
  • Now add garam masala, coriander powder, cashew nuts , chilli powder and sugar fry until they get roasted then blend them in a blender with 1 cup of water and keep it aside
  • Take a pan add some butter, add dry spices and fry for 2 mins, add ginger garlic paste, fry until the raw smell disappears
  • Pour blended  puree, add chilli powder and salt according to taste and cook for 5-6 mins
  • Add paneer and kasuri methi stir well and cook for more 5 mins
  • Finally add cream and serve it in a serving bowl
  • Garnish with chopped corianders and serve hot
