Panakam | Panagam Recipe

Ingredients for Panakam/ Panagam (Sri Ramanavami Special)

  • Jaggery – 200 grams
  • Cardamom – 4
  • Dry ginger – a small piece
  • Lemon – ½
  • Chilled water – 4 glasses

Method

  • First Crush the jaggery to powder and dissolve it in 4 glasses of chilled water
  • Now crush cardamom and dry ginger and add it to the jaggery mixture.
  • Squeeze the half lemon in panakam and add a dash of lemon juice for flavour, mix well
  • Finally the Panakam is ready to be served for  Neivedhyam
