Masala Prawn Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients for Masala Prawns Popcorn

  • Prawns -1 cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 2tbsp
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Coriander powder – 1 Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Kasuri methi powder – 1 Tsp
  • Maida – 250 gms
  • Semolina – 250gms
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Egg – 2

Method:

  • Cut prawns pieces into popcorn size and keep it aside
  • Take a bowl add ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi powder & salt to taste mix well
  • Now add prawns & marinate them for 30 mins
  • Break eggs & beat it and keep it aside
  • Spread out some maida & semolina on two separate plates
  • Dip marinated prawn pieces in maida, eggs & semolina
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan, gently drop prawn pieces in oil
  • Deep fry and transfer it on a tissue paper to absorb oil
  • Serve hot with ketchup
