How To Make Rice Kheer Recipe

Ingredients for Rice Kheer Recipe

 

  • Milk – 1 ltr (full fat)
  • Basmati rice – ¼ cup (you can use other rice also)
  • Sugar – to taste
  • Green cardamom powder – 1tspn
  • Almond, pista, cashew nuts ,kiss miss  – 1cup (finely chopped and roasted in ghee)

Method:

Step 1

Wash rice and soak it for 30 mins it helps to cook quickly

Step 2

Take a heavy bottom pan, add milk and for few mins.

Step 3

Now add soaked rice inr milk and cook until rice become soft and well cooked

Step 4

Add required amount of sugar and stir well, and cook it on a medium flame

Step 5

To prevent kheer from burning keep stirring continuously

Step 6

Add cardamom powder, Almond, pista, cashew nuts, kiss miss , stir well and continue to cook for 5 mins

Step 7

As the kheer becomes thickens switch off lame and serve it in a serving bowl

Step 8

Garnish kheer with ghee roasted nuts and serve.
