Ingredients for Rice Kheer Recipe
- Milk – 1 ltr (full fat)
- Basmati rice – ¼ cup (you can use other rice also)
- Sugar – to taste
- Green cardamom powder – 1tspn
- Almond, pista, cashew nuts ,kiss miss – 1cup (finely chopped and roasted in ghee)
Wash rice and soak it for 30 mins it helps to cook quickly
Take a heavy bottom pan, add milk and for few mins.
Now add soaked rice inr milk and cook until rice become soft and well cooked
Add required amount of sugar and stir well, and cook it on a medium flame
To prevent kheer from burning keep stirring continuously
Add cardamom powder, Almond, pista, cashew nuts, kiss miss , stir well and continue to cook for 5 mins
As the kheer becomes thickens switch off lame and serve it in a serving bowl
Garnish kheer with ghee roasted nuts and serve.
