Kadai Paneer Dry Recipe

Ingredients for Kadai Paneer Dry Recipe

 

  • Paneer – 250 grams (cut into cubes)
  • Onions – 3 medium (pureed)
  • Tomatoes – 3 large (pureed)
  • Capsicum – 1 (sliced)
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp
  • chilli powder to taste
  • Coriander powder to taste
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf – 1
  • Cloves – 3-4
  • Cinnamon stick – 1 inch
  • Coriander leaves – a few (finely chopped)
  • Ghee as required
  • Salt to taste

 

Method

  • Take a kadai, Heat ghee in kadai and sauté the paneer pieces till golden brown, Then Soak them in 5 cups water
  • In the same kadai add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon sticks, onion paste and ginger garlic paste,capsicum,  Saute them well till lightly golden
  • Now add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and stir well
  • Add little water as required and Mix well and allow the mixture to boil then add tomato puree and mix again.
  • Cover with lid and cook for more five minutes till oil surfaces
  • Add salt to taste and drained paneer pieces mix well and cook for 2 mins
  • Serve it in a serving bowl Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
