Ingredients for Crunchy Paneer Pakora Recipe

 

  • Paneer – 250 grams (cut in pieces)
  • Besan – 1 cup
  • Boondi – 1 cup (crush and make powder of it)
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda a pinch

Method:

  • Take bowl add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, salt, besan, turmeric and baking soda
  • Also add sufficient water and mix well to make a smooth thick batter
  • Rest the batter for about 10-15 mins
  • Heat sufficient oil in a pan for deep frying
  • Dip each paneer pieces in batter then roll them in boondi powder and deep fry on medium heat till they become crisp and golden brown
  • Drain on tissue paper
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney of your choice

Note:

You can also use cornflakes instead of boondi
