Simple Creamy Spinach Pasta Recipe

Ingredients for Creamy Spinach Pasta

 

  • Pasta – 2 cups
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Maida – 2 tbsp
  • Dry basil – 1 tsp
  • Italian herb mix – 1 Tsp
  • Pepper to taste
  • Chilli flakes to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese – ½ cup
  • Spinach – 2 cups (finely chopped)

 

Method:

  • Heat water in a deep pan add salt and pasta cook for 8 mins or you can also follow instructions on package to cook pasta
  • Drain water and keep pasta aside
  • Heat oil in a pan add maida stir well
  • Add dry basil, Italian herb mix, pepper powder, and chili flakes and stir well for a minute
  • While stirring slowly add the heavy cream making sure there are no lumps
  • Add milk and bring it to a boil
  • Add spinach and mix it well cook it for 2-3 minutes stirring continuously
  • Turn off flame add Mozzarella cheese and stir well
  • Pour the white sauce over cooked pasta and toss well make sure sauce coats pasta nicely
  • Serve it in a serving bowl
