Ingredients for Chocolate Cake Recipe
- Maida – 200 grams
- Butter – 50 grams
- Sugar – 150 grams
- Cocoa powder – 50 grams
- Water – 3 Tbsp
- Baking powder – 1 Tsp
- Eggs – 2
- Vanilla essence – 2 drops
- Salt – pinch
- Nuts as required
- Ghee – 2 Tbsp
Method
- Take a bowl, add maida, cocoa powder and baking powder, mix well
- Add butter, sugar, salt, water and vanilla essence and mix well for 5 minutes
- Now add eggs and mix until the batter become smooth
- Meanwhile, apply ghee to the cake pan and transfer the cake batter into the pan
- Garnish the batter with chopped nuts
- Add little water to pressure cooker and heat it for 3 minutes on high flame and now put the cake pan into the pressure cooker and allow it to cook for 20-30 minutes on low flame
- Remove the cake from cooker and allow it to cool for few minutes
- Chocolate cake is ready to be served
- Enjoy the cake with any fruit juice
