Chilli Paneer Gravy Recipe Step by Step

Ingredients for Chilli Paneer Gravy Recipe

 

  • Paneer – 300 grams
  • Cornflour – 3 tbsp
  • Garlic – 3cloves(finely chopped)
  • Ginger – ½ inch(finely chopped)
  • Onion  – 1 medium (thickly sliced)
  • Green capsicums – 2 medium(cut in to thick strips)
  • Green chillies-  6 to 8 (sliced)
  • Vegetable stock – 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • MSG – ¼  tsp

 

Method

  • Cut the paneer into medium sized diamonds
  •  Heat sufficient oil in a pan, roll the paneer pieces in one tablespoon of cornflour and deep fry on medium flame until the edges start to turn brown
  • Drain paneer pieces on absorbent paper
  •  Mix the remaining cornflour in ½  cup of water.
  • Heat two tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan, add the ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion and capsicum,   and stir-fry for few  min
  • Add the salt to taste
  • Add soy sauce and MSG and mix well
  •  Add corn flour mixture and cook on a medium flame stirring and tossing until the sauce thickens to coat the paneer pieces and the vegetables
  •  Serve hot immediately
