Hyderabad Chandhi Chicken Korma Curry Recipe

Ingredients of Chandhi Chicken Kurma Recipe

  • Onions – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Badam – 8
  • Pista – 7
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Coconut milk – ¼ cup
  • Chicken – 1 cup (boneless)
  • Elachi powder – ¼ tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Chilli paste to taste (2 tbsp)
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Blend the onions, badam and Pista in a blender to a fine paste and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry the above paste for few minutes
  • Add ginger garlic paste, cardamom powder, pepper powder, and chilli paste and fry it for a couple of minutes
  • Add chicken and mix well
  • Add curd, coconut milk and salt to taste, mix well
  • Add little water and cook it on a medium flame for few minutes
  • Serve it in a serving bowl and serve hot with paratha, roti, chapatti and naan.
