Ingredients for Cauliflower Tikka Masala Recipe

  • Cauliflower – 1 (cut into small pieces)
  • Onions – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Garlic – 1 tbsp (grated)
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp (grated)
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Mustard– 1 Tsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Cashew nut paste – 2 tbsp

For gravy

  • Tomato – 3
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Coriander leaves – ½ cup (finely chopped)
  • Coconut milk – ¼ cup
  • Coriander powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
  • cinnamon powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Chilli powder to taste
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Take a blender and blend all the ingredients that are mentioned for gravy and make a smooths paste of it
  • Keep the gravy paste aside
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add Mustard, ginger, garlic and onions stir well and cook it on a medium flame
  • Now add gravy paste and mix well
  • Cook the gravy on a medium flame for few minutes and add salt if required
  • Add cashew nut paste and stir well
  • Add cauliflower pieces of gravy and mix well
  • Add water and cook the gravy for few more minutes
  • Serve it in a serving bowl and serve hot with boiled rice or chapati
