How to Make Carrot Raita Recipe

Ingredients for Carrot Raita

 

  • Carrot – 2 medium (peeled and grated)
  • Green chilli -1 (finely chopped)
  • Fresh curd – 1 cup
  • Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala – pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Ghee/oil – ½ tsp
  • Hing – pinch

 

Method:

  • Whisk curd till it become smooth
  • Add grated carrot, green chilli and mix well
  • Add cumin powder, garam masala and salt to taste mix well and keep it aside
  • For tempering (optional)
  • Heat ghee in a small pan, add hing and fry for few seconds
  • Now pour this tempering in curd mixture, stir well
  • Serve it in a serving bowl
  • Serve it with biryani, pulav, or chapatti of your likes
