Besan Ladoo Recipe Step by Step

Ingredients for Besan Ladoo Recipe

  • Gram flour (besan) – 4 cups
  • Cashew nuts – 15
  • Almonds – 15
  • Ghee – 1 cup
  • Green cardamom powder – 1tsp
  • Powdered sugar – 2 cups

 

Method

 

  • Take a blender place the cashew nuts and almonds in the blender jar and coarsely grind them. Transfer powder into a bowl and keep it aside
  • Heat ghee in a pan on a low flame. Add gram flour, stirring continuously, for 15-20 minutes or cook it till the gram flour is fragrant and turns light brown in color
  • Add cardamom powder, cashew nuts, and almond powder. Mix them well and remove from heat. Set it aside and let it cool for 15 minutes
  • Now add powdered sugar and mix well (You may use your hands to mix this)
  • Shape into walnut sized round laddoos and arrange them on a serving plate. When the laddoos have cooled completely, you can store them in an airtight container
