Aloo Chana Masala Recipe

Ingredients for Aloo Chana Masala Recipe

  • Potato – ½ kg (boiled, peeled and chopped)
  • Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Garlic – 4 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Ginger – 2 tbsp (grated)
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tbsp
  • Tomato – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
  • chana – 100 gms (soaked and boiled)
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Curd – 2 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Heat oil in non-stick pan and add garlic, ginger and onions fry them on a medium flame for a couple of mins
  • Add garam masala powder and mix well
  • Add chopped tomatoes, tomato paste and cook for few minutes
  • Now add boiled chana, potatoes and curd, mix well
  • Close the pan with lid and cook it on a low flame for few minutes
  • Finally, serve it in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with chapatti
