Aloo Aur Beetroot Ka Halwa Recipe

Ingredients for Aloo Aur Beetroot Ka Halwa Recipe

  • Potato – 1 medium (parboiled and peeled)
  • Beetroot –  3 medium (parboiled and peeled)
  • Sugar – ½ cup
  • Mawa (khoya) – 125 grams (finely grated)
  • Green cardamom powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Milk – ¾ cup
  • Ghee – 3 tablespoons
  • Almonds – ½ cup

Method                                                                

  • Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan, add the potato and beetroots and sauté them for 2-3 minutes
  • Add sugar and continue to sauté for 2-3 mins
  • Now add mawa and sauté for further two minutes
  • Add the milk and cook for a few minutes more
  • Add green cardamom powder and mix well
  • Add half the almonds and mix
  • Tasty aloo aur beetroot halwa is ready to be served
  • Serve it in a serving bowl garnish with the remaining almonds and serve hot
